Name: Ryuichi Kawamura

Ryuichi, born as Takano, after his parents' divorce and new marriage of his mother, as form of respect, decided to take his stepfather's last name.
He has been a rebel boy, but since child, he had the passion for singing.
During years, he kept training his singing talent. It was the only thing, as he uses to say, that could make him relaxed.
In the first years of high school, he had a band, SLAUGHTER, in which he used the name RAYLA. In 1986 he met the other guys with whom formed LUNACY.
In 1989 there's the official debut of the band and in 1992, after hide discovered them, there's the first album under YOSHIKI's label.
After some albums, singles and concerts and gaining a lot of success, in 1997, LUNA SEA decided to get a break to realize their solo projects.
From now on, Ryuichi has it's ascent in music field. His genre is pop, really different from LUNA SEA, but maybe it's a genre more appreciated by people, that until that time, didn't have much interest in LUNA SEA.
The fame of the group reached high levels, until 2000, when they announced the disbanding, happened in 2001.
Meanwhile, everyone kept his solo projects.
Kawamura produced different artists (KOKIA, Risa, ISSA, Ishikawa, etc) keeping his work.
At the end of 2004, during a RK Meeting Volume N.# (for his fanclub), he presented some songs that he wants to take to the success with his new project, TOURBILLON, with Inoran (that now is busy with Ken Lloyd -ex Oblivion Dust- into FAKE? project) and Hiroaki Hayama, musician and lyrics writer of a great fame in music world.
On 2nd July 2005, in Budokan, the band presented some songs. The first single, HEAVEN, will be released on 7th September, the second will be released in October.
In August they'll have a concert.
